Depression

Everyone feels down from time to time—after a job loss, an argument, or a tough day—but those feelings usually pass when circumstances change. Clinical depression is different. It lingers, often without a clear reason, making even the smallest tasks feel overwhelming. It can lead to isolation, neglecting self-care, struggling to get out of bed, and being weighed down by guilt and shame. Many people suffer in silence, believing they should just "push through," but depression is the leading cause of illness and disability worldwide, and on average, people wait over 10 years before seeking help.

You don’t have to wait or struggle alone. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you break free from depression and start feeling like yourself again.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural response to stress, but when it becomes persistent, it can take over your life. Unlike fear, which reacts to immediate danger, anxiety is a response to vague or non-specific threats, keeping your brain and body stuck in a constant state of fight or flight. This can lead to chronic worry, overwhelm, trouble sleeping, muscle tension, difficulty concentrating, and intrusive thoughts that disrupt daily life.

The good news is that anxiety is highly treatable—you don’t have to struggle alone. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems to help calm your nervous system, reduce anxiety, and give you the relief you need to reclaim your life.
